The verbe "to be"

Lets start with some grammar!I know you hate it but i will make my best to make it fun fun fun!!!!

The verb to be is the first verb we learn in every language!In French it is the verb ETRE, on the present tense

So lets conjugate ETRE!!!!!!


I am = Je suis 

You are= Tu es

He/She is = Il est/elle est

We are = Nous sommes 

You are = Vous etes

They are = Ils sont/elles sont

*Note: In French we use male and female on the plural as well!!! *

The first and most impostant thing you will have to learn in any language is: 
Good morning, how are you?
In French this is: Bonjour, comment ca va?
It is rather easy but the next song will really help you learn it even easier!!!

La France

La France is a country on the North of Europe, but with a 
"mediterrenean" breeze on the lifestyle and the culture.It is 

a democracy(Liberté, égalité, fraternité    is their moto) with     

65 million inhabitants in 116/km2 of land.It's capital is 

Paris,  a lively metropolis full of wonferfull 

buildings,status,museums but also restaurants,nightclubs, 

maybe the number one touristic attraction in the 

world! Paris had famous monuments like La tour Eiffel and 

Montmartre  that are visited by millions of tourists every 

year! The official language is of course French, a language 

that comes from Latin like Italian   or Spanish  .The French 

people  are known as snobs and difficult sometimes but are 

purely cultivated, love art and culture and good food!Art is 

alive everywhere in Paris from Centres Pompidou  to Le 

Louvre  .Music, theatre,cinema,dance are all around the 

streets where street musicians or artists make their living, 

alongside Paris's river La Seine .One song that could describe 

the feeling of this wonderfull country and language is the 

following, enjoy!!!!

*** The French say Bonjour instead of Salut most of the times, all day long, until almost 10 pm!!!! ***
